- Soaked fennel seeds water (optional)

 

BREAKFAST (8–9 AM)

Choose one:

- Vegetable poha (less oil)

- Plain oats

- Idli (limited sambhar)

- 2 multigrain rotis + light sabzi

- Curd rice (small portion, if tolerated)

(Avoid heavy, spicy breakfast)

 

MID-MORNING

- Small banana

OR

- Papaya

- Coconut water

 

LUNCH (1–2 PM)

- 2 rotis OR small bowl rice

- 1 bowl moong dal

EVENING SNACK

- Roasted makhana

- Plain khakra

DINNER (7–8 PM – Light & Early)

- 2 rotis + light vegetable

OR

- Vegetable soup

OR

- Moong dal khichdi

FOODS TO AVOID

- Fried & spicy food

- Excess dairy (if intolerant)

- Onion & garlic (if sensitive)

- Rajma, chole (may cause gas)

- Cold drinks

- Artificial sweeteners

- Excess caffeine

- Processed food

 

BEST GUT-FRIENDLY FOODS

- Moong dal

- Rice

- Lauki

- Tori

- Pumpkin

- Curd (if tolerated)

- Oats

- Fennel seeds

 

DO’S FOR IBS MANAGEMENT
